OMI celebrates 4 weeks at No.1 in the UK with single 'Cheerleader'

Today's Official UK Top 40 has now been confirmed and hitmaker OMI has extended his reign at No.1 for a fourth week with his single, 'Cheerleader'.

OMI has managed to fight off tough competition from the likes of Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s 'See You Again', which is back up to No.2 and 'Bills' by LunchMoney Lewis.

Taylor Swift has this week’s highest new entry with 'Bad Blood' ft. Kendrick Lamar at No.4 and rounding off the Top 5 is Skrillex, Diplo and Justin Bieber’s collaborative offering, 'Where Are U Now'. The track is Skrillex’s biggest UK single to date, beating his previous peak at No.24 with 'Bangarang' in 2012. David Guetta celebrates his 21st UK Top 10 hit today with 'Hey Mama', which also features Nicki Minaj, as it has climbed from 17 to No.10.

Ella Eyre has scored her fourth Top 20 single with 'Together', which is new in at 12 and Hozier’s 'Someone New' jumps five places to No.19 for its fourth week in the Top 40. Australian indie-pop band Sheppard have made an appearance at No.36 with 'Geronimo'.
