Girl group Little Mix recently told The Sun newspaper that they gave 'Pretty Girls' to Britney Spears because they knew they "could do better", but they have now revealed that they didn't mean any offence by the remark and simply felt that it would be more suited to another artist. 

Speaking to Capital FM about their earlier comments, in which they explained that they didn't think the track was good enough for them to have as a single, the beauties clarified their point and confessed that it just didn't sound like a Little Mix song:

"Well as we were writing the song we realised that it sounded more like it should be for somebody else rather than us. We absolutely think that it's perfect for Britney. She's absolutely smashing it at the moment."
