Enrique Iglesias has received hand reconstruction surgery after hurting himself with a video drone.

The singer was left heavily bleeding after catching the airborne drone during a gig in Mexico on Saturday (May 30).

He performed through the pain, despite appearing to be soaked in blood.

A rep for the musician has now confirmed that he underwent surgery on Monday (June 1).

They said: "Thank you to all for your concern and good wishes. Enrique is currently undergoing reconstructive hand surgery today.

"Enrique will resume his tour July 3rd in Mexico City. We appreciate all your wishes and prayers."
