Lily Allen 'grateful to be alive' after caravan gas explosion

Lily Allen says she is lucky to be alive after being involved in a gas explosion.

The singer revealed the news on Instagram on Sunday (June 21) after enjoying a break at the Glastonbury Festival.

The Brit said that she was left with "minor burns" after a gas explosion took place in her caravan.

Allen said: "I was in a gas explosion in my caravan today and I have minor burns and synged my eyelashes considerably. It was absolutely terrifying and I wouldn't want anyone to go through anything similar.

"Please be SO careful using gas stoves at anytime but especially during festival season when ones reaction times may be a little off. Feeling very grateful to be alive. Happy camping (sic)."

The 'Sheezus' star had previously uploaded photos of herself in the caravan on the Glastonbury site ahead of the festival this weekend.
