Demi Lovato has confirmed details of her next single.

The singer will release 'Cool For The Summer' in the US on July 1.

The 'Skyscraper' star also uploaded to Twitter the track's artwork.

The sultry picture sees Lovato chilling out on a chair on a sandy beach environment.

The singer said on Twitter: "My new single is called #CoolForTheSummer and will be out July 1!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH."

The track will be the first song to be taken from Lovato's upcoming new album.

The singer previously revealed that the record will show a more authentic side to herself and her musical sound.
