Little Mix: 'We've said from day one that we want to empower people'

‘Black Magic’ beauties Little Mix have revealed that while they don’t want to come out and describe themselves as role models, it’s amazing to think that people look up to them.

During a new interview with the Chart Show, the hitmakers explained that they are always inspired and flattered when people consider them to worthy of idolising and songstress Jesy Nelson confessed

“Yeah, but I don’t think we’d ever say that we were role models, but at the same time I think we’re just being ourselves and if people consider us as role models... then... (great!)”

Leigh-Anne Pinnock added: “Especially with our music as well, I mean ‘Salute’ is so empowering… we’ve said from day one that we want to empower people with our music.”
