Former Westlife singer Brian McFadden and his wife, Vogue Williams, have announced that they have now parted ways. 

The pair shared matching statements via their respective social media pages this evening (pictured below) and explained that they're both heartbroken about the mutual decision, but think it's for the best. 

McFadden and Williams married back in September 2012 after announcing their engagement in the January and enjoyed an intimate ceremony in Florence, Italy. Williams recently spoke to The Herald about her relationship with the hitmaker and confessed that he's not jealous or controlling:

"Thankfully he’s not jealous. You think it might be nice at the start, but it would get old very fast. I think it would be really awkward if he did get jealous. Do you know what? I’d be more likely to ‘Oh my God look at that girl and he’d go ‘who?’, I’d spot her first."
