'Teenage Dream' sensation Katy Perry has revealed that she will star in a Christmas advertising campaign for clothing company H&M. 

The beauty is set to front an exciting new global TV and print campaign that will launch in November, and she issued a statement on the project, which reads:

"H&M was one of the places where I first began cultivating my personal style... I have continued to love integrating H&M pieces into my wardrobe throughout the years. One of the reasons I love the holidays is being able to dress cosy and cute, which H&M executes so well for every budget. I can't wait for you to see the world we created with (director) Jonas Åkerlund and Dan Jackson."

Perry also shared a snapshot from the campaign on Instagram with her followers and she can be seen wearing an adorable patterned sweater with her hair up in a bun that has been tied with a festive red ribbon (shown below).
