Last night, singer Jake Roche proposed to his Little Mix girlfriend Jesy Nelson with the help of superstar Ed Sheeran and she said yes. 

Roche performed 'Tenerife Sea' with Sheeran onstage at the Manchester Arena as Nelson looked on, and then he surprised her by getting down on one knee and asking for her hand in marriage (pictured below). 

Speaking on her hit UK talk show 'Loose Women', Nolan explained that she was so excited to have been involved: "We had to hide behind the curtains until Jake came out, so she didn't spot any of us, so as Jake came out, we all came out at the side of the stage and one of the security guards tried to throw me out!"

She went onto add that she wants them to have a big wedding and believes they'll tie the knot sooner rather than later: "I hope [they have a big wedding]. Although they are young, they're just so in love, I can't see it being five or six years away. I think they'll be getting straight onto it, in the next year or two."

"[Jesy] is such, such, such a lovely girl and so down-to-earth. Seeing them together is a joy and her mum, Jan is fabulous and we just all click. It's lovely actually."
