Sheppard set to release 'Let Me Down Easy' as their next single

Australian indie-pop band Sheppard are set to release their new single ‘Let Me Down Easy’ on August 7.

The track has already been a No.1 hit in Australia and is taken from their debut album ‘Bombs Away’, and will be released through Decca Records early next month.

After immediately selling out Water Rats and The Barfly here in the UK, Sheppard quickly went on to co-headline with chart-toppers Rixton at London’s Koko last year.  After touring the US with Meghan Trainor earlier this year, Sheppard brought their irresistible power-pop back over to the UK for performances at Isle of Wight Festival, gigs in Manchester and Glasgow, and supported Taylor Swift at British Summer Time!

Earlier this spring, Pressparty caught up with Sheppard and they described their unique sound to us: "Well it’s pop music, but it’s like alternative pop. I can’t really compare it to anybody. It’s kind of like Mumford and Sons meets Coldplay, if that makes sense. There’s all different types of genres on the album - no two songs are alike."
