Years & Years remain at UK No.1 with debut album 'Communion'

Electronic trio Years & Years are spending a second week at the top spot on the UK Albums Chart with their debut offering, 'Communion'

The record, which features popular singles 'Shine' and former No.1 'King', has outsold its nearest competitor, which is Ed Sheeran’s x (No.2) by more than 7,000 copies.

This week’s highest new entry comes from Australian rock group Tame Impala, who have made an appearance at No.3 with 'Currents'. James Bay’s 'Chaos and the Calm' is at No.4 and Sam Smith’s 'In the Lonely Hour' rounds out the Top 5

Heartthrob Nick Jonas scores his highest charting album to date with his self-titled release at No.16 and Will Young has re-entered the Top 40 with '85% Proof', which has climbed an impressive 35 places to sit at No.25. Royal Blood’s eponymous debut rises four places this week to No.37 and Leon Bridges’ 'Coming Home' is up nine to No.38.
