Taylor Swift wanted her 'Bad Blood' girls to 'look hot and powerful'

Beauty Gigi Hadid has revealed that Taylor Swift had a "big conversation" with her pals where she pitched them the idea for her 'Bad Blood' music video and asked them all to be involved in the amazing project.

The supermodel confirmed that Swift's intentions for the video were fantastic and she wanted her female friends to feel empowered and strong. She told Who What Wear: "For [Taylor] it was really a way to show that she supports her friends so much and that we support her back."

"We all took time out of our schedules to be there and she wanted to make us look hot and powerful. It was a big, amazing thing to be a part of. We want to be known as the group of girls that are known for our kindness, rather than our cattiness."

Hadid, meanwhile, also spoke out about getting her start in the fashion world and told the Daily Mail that she was initially told to lose weight: “When I first went to visit different agencies in New York, a lot of them were like, you have to lose a lot of weight. I would cry at night and my mom would be like, 'We’re going to find the [right] people'."
