FKA Twigs says she doesn't take orders from anyone when it comes to musical direction.

The Brit told the Sunday Times that she is control of her own destiny.

The singer added that she feels like the opposite of a "package pop star".

FKA Twigs said: "No one tells me what to do. I'm not like a package pop star.

"For my next album I want to write my own music because it'll make me feel more in control of my career. This is what I've always been."

The star's first album 'LP1' meanwhile was released in 2014.
