Madame Tussauds hires extra security for Nicki Minaj waxwork

At the beginning of August, Madame Tussauds unveiled a new waxwork figure of Nicki Minaj and people have been taking inappropriate photographs with her likeness.

The waxwork is positioned on all fours - in a stance that can be seen in Minaj's music video for 'Anaconda' - and fans visiting the museum have been acting disrespectfully towards it, which has now resulted in Madame Tussauds taking extra precautions to stop this from happening.

A spokesperson issued a statement on the news (pictured in full below) and explained that the museum will now have extra staff watching over Minaj's waxwork so that no one else behaves in such a way around it.

Minaj has shared a few images of fans posing inappropriately with her waxwork (also show below) with her followers on Instagram and accompanied one picture with the following caption: "Naw bitch hold on."
