Demi Lovato teases new album: 'It's an edgier, sexier offering'

'Cool For The Summer' starlet Demi Lovato has revealed that her new album is 'edgier' than anything else she has ever worked on.

Speaking to Yahoo! Beauty about her forthcoming new record, the songstress admitted that her new-found confidence definitely influenced her new music and it's 'sexier' than anything she has released before:

"I feel a lot more grown-up now than I ever have when it comes to my music. The last time I released an album I was 20."

She continued: "I'm feeling more mature and more confident. It's an edgier, sexier album, so I'm excited for people to hear it."

At the beginning of the month, she told Cosmopolitan magazine that she feels very secure in who she is now: "I've never been so sure of myself as an artist when it comes down to confidence, but not only personal things, but exactly what I want my sound to be and what I know I'm capable of and this album will give me the opportunity to show people what I can really do."
