It has been confirmed that the much loved talk show 'Alan Carr: Chatty Man' will return to Channel 4 in September, with Tom Hardy and Demi Lovato joining the comedian on the sofa as his first guests.

The songstress has been announced to make an appearance on the popular programme where she will discuss her forthcoming new album as well as perform her latest single, 'Cool For The Summer'. Actor Tom Hardy, meanwhile, will talk about his role playing twin gangsters Ronnie and Reggie Kray in the new film 'Legend'.

The award-winning 'Chatty Man' will return on Friday, September 11 at 10pm in the UK (Channel 4). Further guests for the rest of the series will be announced in the coming weeks and there will be 16 new episodes of 'Chatty Man' this autumn, with a Christmas special and New Year Specstacular scheduled for December.

Lovato, meanwhile, has been confirmed to perform her hit single at this year's MTV VMAs, which is set to take place on August 30 at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles.
