Little Mix: 'Don't raise your voice until you've found inner confidence'

'Black Magic' beauties Little Mix have opened up about the advice they would love to give their younger selves if they could.

Songstress Jesy Nelson explained: "I think if we could give advice to our younger selves, we'd all say to be more confident and to not worry as much as we do."

Leigh-Anne Pinnock said that an important lesson to learn is that you should never give up on your dreams even if they seem impossible to accomplish: "To believe in yourself, as well. Never let other people get you down and tell you that you can't do it. Keep trying. If we had stopped trying to make it, we would never be here now. It's all about pushing yourself and never giving up."

Jade Thirlwall went onto add that surrounding yourself with encouraging and positive people is a huge factor in gaining confidence:

"We probably lacked confidence. Especially on stage in front of lots of people - it is quite daunting especially when you're younger. The more you do it, the more you get used to it. I think the best thing for us was getting put together in a band where we sing together and help each other with our confidence. You can't raise your voice until you've found some inner confidence."
