Miley Cyrus wants people to see 'Wrecking Ball' video as 'art'

Miley Cyrus says she wants viewers to take her 'Wrecking Ball' video as art instead of a sexualised music clip.

The visual for the track gained global noteriety in 2013 when it was uploaded online.

Some scenes of the video see the US singer naked whilst sitting on a demolition ball.

Speaking to Notebook magazine, Cyrus said that she doesn't believe the clip is "sexualised" in a bad way.

She said: "You can talk about the sexuality all you want but...you have to respect the fact that it's art.

"You have to respect the fact that when you watch the video it makes you feel something and gets you choked up at some points."

The track 'Wrecking Ball' featured on Cyrus' 2013 album 'Bangerz'.
