5SOS and 1D are battling it out for Billboard's Song of the Summer 2015

Billboard currently has a poll in which the public can vote for their favourite song from this summer and One Direction and 5 Seconds Of Summer are leading the results with very little between them.

At the time of writing, One Direction's 'Drag Me Down' has 38.44% of the vote and 5 Seconds Of Summer's 'She's Kinda Hot' is just behind with 37.73%. Fifth Harmony ft. Kid Ink are in third place with 18.21%.

In addition to the aforementioned tracks, you can also vote for The Weeknd's 'Can't Feel My Face', Jason Derulo's 'Want To Want Me', Maroon 5's 'Sugar', OMI's 'Cheerleader', Rachel Platten's chart-topping 'Fight Song', and Taylor Swift's 'Bad Blood'. Click here to cast your vote now.

Billboard also confirmed that according to official statistics, OMI's 'Cheerleader' should be crowned the Song of the Summer because of its impressive performance: "Congrats to the Jamaican singer and the German DJ behind the No. 1 hit. Billboard's annual Songs of the Summer tally tracks the most popular titles based on cumulative performance on the weeklyBillboard Hot 100 chart from Memorial Day through Labor Day."
