Benedict Cumberbatch supports Syrian refugee single

Benedict Cumberbatch is supporting a new charity music drive to raise money for Syrian refugees.

Crowded House are re-releasing the 1990s song 'Help Is Coming' to generate funds for those leaving Syria in a desperate search for safety.

Cumberbatch has lent his voice for an intro to a video of the song.

Money raised from the single will go to Save The Children and the project has been devised by journalists Caitlin Moran and Pete Paphides.

The single is available now on iTunes and will available on 7" vinyl from from 29 September.
