Singer Sam Smith has revealed that he finds dating to be quite difficult and challenging because

During a new interview with GQ magazine, the singer confessed that he struggles with relationships: "I was in a relationship for a few months before Christmas, but I really have an issue with relationships. In fact, I have never really had a relationship up to a few months ago. I am just very comfortable and happy alone."

He went onto add that unrequited love has made him proceed with caution into romantic situations: 

"I am lucky in that respect but at the same time I have moments where I have fallen in love with people that don't love me back and I have very sad and lonely moments. I think I need to work at allowing someone to come into my life. I am a bit of a control freak I think. But I am starting to have relationships here and there."
