Justin Bieber's 'What Do You Mean' is certified Silver in the UK

Canadian sensation Justin Bieber has reached a new milestone in the UK today with his latest single 'What Do You Mean'.

The British Phonographic Industry confirmed the exciting news this evening and tweeted the following message: "It topped the UK charts earlier this month and now ‘What Do You Mean’ by @justinbieber has gone Silver! #bpiAwards."

Silver certification of a single happens when it passes the 200,000 sales mark and considering the fact that Bieber only unveiled the track at the end of August it has done incredibly well to get this far so quickly. 'What Do You Mean' also recently enjoyed a phenomenal 21 million streams on Spotify in just five days and beat One Direction's previously set record of 20 million with 'Drag Me Down'.

The Australian version of 'The X Factor' also just announced that Bieber will perform the single live on its show and shared the following post: "Get excited!! @JustinBieber is performing #WhatDoYouMean on #xfactorau! Stay tuned for more. #TheBieberFactor."
