Leona Lewis says actress Thandie Newton is her main fashion inspiration.

The singer told the Daily Express that the British actress brings "sophistication" to the table when it comes to clothes.

The former X Factor winner said: "Thandie Newton [is my style icon]. She always looks demure and sophisticated."

Speaking meanwhile about design, Lewis said: "I love Stella McCartney.

"I'm vegetarian and all her stuff is vegan, so I can buy her bags and her shoes and not worry about leather."

"But I also shop at H&M and Topshop. It's all about mixing it up."
