Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez has revealed that she was just 12-years-old when she noticed how much power she had over men that she encountered. 

During a new interview with Germany's Cosmpolitan magazine, the 'On The Floor' sensation explained that she has been aware of her sensuality for a long time now: "Men were watching me walk by and whistling at me. That's when I realised I had a certain power over men."

The beauty went onto add that her pursuit of superstardom wasn't for anyone's benefit than her own: "I always just wanted to prove to myself that I can do it, no one else. I never wanted to wear broken shoes again."

Lopez will unveil her highly anticipated All I Have residency at Planet Hollywood’s Axis theater in January and she recently told Extra that there is a lot still to do in order to fully prepare for the stage production: "We have a lot of work to do. It is conceptually moulding the show and figuring out what that is going to be. Putting all the pieces together and seeing what we are going to do new, and what we are going to keep from other shows I've done and capturing the energy I bring to the stage."
