Disclosure score their second UK No.1 album today with 'Caracal'

Congratulations to sibling duo Disclosure who today notch up their second chart-topping album with 'Caracal'.

The pair – real names Howard and Guy Lawrence – first hit No.1 back in 2013 with their debut 'Settle', which went on to become one of the Top 40 biggest selling artist albums of that year. Disclosure told OfficialCharts.com:

"Can't believe it! So happy and thanks so much to all the people for supporting our music. It means the world and we can't wait to hopefully see you all at a show soon!"

'Caracal', which features collaborations with the likes of Sam Smith, The Weeknd, Gregory Porter, Kwabs, Lorde, and Miguel, ends the week over 8,000 copies ahead of its nearest competitor.

Elsewhere, New Order score their highest charting album in 22 years with new release 'Music Complete' (No.2). The Manchester act’s tenth studio album features collaborations with Brandon Flowers, La Roux and Iggy Pop and marks the group’s tenth UK Top 10.

David Gilmour’s 'Rattle That Lock' slides two places to No.3 this week, followed by Scottish synth-pop group Chvrches. The band’s second album 'Every Open Eye' scores them a new Official Chart peak at Number 4. Jess Glynne’s 'I Cry When I Laugh' is down two places to No.5 today, counting its sixth week in the Official Albums Chart Top 5.

Eagles’ Don Henley scores his highest charting solo album to date with 'Cass County' (No.7), as Westlife’s Shane Filan scores a second UK Top 20 with 'Right Here' (No.11).

Fetty Wap’s self-titled debut lands at Number 15, followed by US supergroup The Dead Weather’s 'Dodge And Burn' at 21. Australian metal-core band Parkway Drive score make their UK Top 40 debut with 'Ire' (23), as does US singer-songwriter Kurt Vile with 'B’lieve I’m Goin' Down' (25).

US musician Julia Holter’s Have you In 'My Wilderness' finishes at 29, trailed by Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ 'Where The City Meets The Sky: Chasing Yesterday: The Remixes' at 35. Stereophonics score this week’s highest climber with 'Best Of – Decade In The Sun', up 24 places to 35, while Amy Winehouse’s 'Back To Black' ascends six places to re-enter the Top 40 at 39.
