Noel Gallagher invited onto stage by U2 for Beatles cover

Noel Gallagher was invited on stage by U2 in London last night (October 26).

The musician performed two tracks with the Irish band at the O2 Arena on their Innocence + Experience tour.

The former Oasis man and the group performed a rendition of The Beatles' 'All You Need Is Love'.

They also ran through U2's 'I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For'.

Singer Bono said before introducing Gallagher: "I'd like to bring out of one my heroes, one of the band's heroes to help us out with this next song.

"Will you welcome to the stage the high flying bird himself Noel Gallagher."

U2 are currently on the road promoting their 2014 record 'Songs of Innocence'.
