Taylor Swift and The Weeknd take the lead as the most nominated artists at the 2016 People’s Choice Awards.

The ‘1989’ star has four nominations for Favourite Female Artist, Favourite Pop Artist, Favourite Song for ‘Bad Blood’, and Favourite Social Media Celebrity.

The Weeknd ties with Taylor Swift with his inclusion in a quartet of categories including Favourite Song for ‘I Can’t Feel My Face’, Favourite Album for ‘Beauty Behind The Madness’, Favourite R&B Artist and Favourite Breakout Artist.

The 42nd Annual People's Choice Awards will take place on January 6 and will be aired on CBS.
