Ariana Grande says new album 'Moonlight' doesn't sound like 'Focus'

Ariana Grande has told her fans not to expect an album of tracks like 'Focus'.

The singer recently unleashed the single as the first cut from her next record 'Moonlight'.

The tune heavily features saxophone - but the US star told KISS that it isn't representative of her upcoming third album.

Grande said: "That’s why I put ‘Focus’ first because it’s the only one that sort of sounds like that.

"I’ve been putting little snippets on my Snapchat here and there of a couple things, but I can’t say yet because it’s not done.”

Speaking in more detail about 'Moonlight', the popstar said:

"I’ve been working on it over the past year while I’ve also been on tour.

"I’m excited for the next couple of months to not only finish the record but to have actual undivided time where I can really just focus on the music.

"I’m really happy with what we’ve done so far, but I just feel like once I finally get the time to really dedicate myself 100 percent I’m going to maybe outdo what we’ve already done. Maybe."
