Adele guest edits relaunched Observer Music magazine

Following exclusive interviews with i-D and Rolling Stone, Adele is continuing her promotional campaign for her comeback with another magazine engagement.

Adele announced via Instagram last night (November 10) that she was not only interviewed for a cover story, but she also took on an editorial role for the publication in question.

The ‘Hello’ star posed for the front cover of the re-launch edition of The Observer Music magazine (see image below).

As well as talking to the resurrected Guardian Media supplement, Adele acted as a guest editor.

A preview of Adele’s interview sees her discussing the trappings of fame. She told Observer Music:

“It's very easy to give in to being famous. Because it's charming. It's powerful. It draws you in. Really, it's harder work resisting it. But after a while I just refused to accept a life that was not real.”

The new edition of The Observer Music magazine will be published this weekend.

Adele is on course to spend a third week at the top of the UK singles chart with her record-breaking comeback anthem ‘Hello’.
