Lady Gaga and Rihanna win at the Hollywood Music In Media Awards

Last night saw the return of the annual Hollywood Music In Media Awards and Lady Gaga and Rihanna both won prizes.

Pop sensation Lady Gaga and songwriter Diane Warren (pictured together left) shared the award for Best Song in a Documentary for their haunting co-written track 'Til It Happens to You' from The Hunting Ground, which is a film about rape on college campuses in America.

Warren accepted the prize at the Los Angeles-based ceremony, telling the audience:

"I usually lose stuff! I would like to dedicate this to the survivors - I refuse to call them victims - of sexual abuse. This is for you."

Songstress Rihanna picked up the gong for Best Song in an Animated Film for 'Dancing in the Dark', which features on the soundtrack for the children's movie 'Home'. She also voiced a lead character in the film, which has been very popular since its release.
