Prince postpones European tour in wake of Paris terror attacks

Prince has postponed a number of European tour dates following the deadly terror attacks in Paris.

A total of 129 people died after seven separate attacks took place across the French capital on Friday (November 13).

89 people were killed during an Eagles of Death Metal concert at the venue Bataclan.

A number of international acts have cancelled dates in France and Europe as a result, including U2 and Foo Fighters.

Prince has now followed suit by postponing his highly anticipated winter Piano and Microphone tour.

Vienna venue Wiener Konzerthaus, where Prince was due to perform on November 24, confirmed that the news.

They said: "Due to the tragic events in Paris, the tour promoter has decided to postpone the upcoming European tour until further notice."

A promoter in Denmark has also confirmed the news.

Tickets for the tour, which had four UK dates scheduled for December, were due to go online on Friday (November 13) - but Prince delayed the sale in protest of touts.
