Judas Priest singer Rob Halford has revealed his desire to work with Lady Gaga.

The 'Born This Way' star is a known fan of heavy metal and it seems Halford is keen to collaborate.

He told New Jersey's WSOU: "I think if you can be receptive to all different styles and genres of music, it can only make great things happen, and I've been watching her since day one.

"When she finally became a huge, gigantic worldwide star, I was really, really happy for her to have such success, because she deserves it.

"She's a demon as far as work; she never stops working. She's just a very prolific artist in all genres."

"I got to see her show in San Diego about two years ago and she's a metalhead. That's the most important part of this conversation. She's a metalhead!

"She was wearing a Priest Ram It Down T-shirt [in a photograph] the other day in New York."

When asked about the prospects of a collaboration, Halford said: "I would love it, because collaborations can be very, very exciting and very spontaneous."
