Lady Gaga: 'I wanted a place to put all of my anguish and rage'

Superstar Lady Gaga has covered Billboard magazine for its Woman of the Year feature and during the accompanying interview she opened up about wanting to appear on 'American Horror Story'.

The 'Born This Way' icon recalled the moment she called up the show's co-creator Ryan Murphy and explained why she wanted to be involved in it

“I told him I wanted a place to put all of my anguish and rage and that I was excited to play a killer. We relate to each other because we’re both transformers."

In the series, Gaga plays the role of Countess Elizabeth who runs the Hotel Cortez, and Murphy added that she is a fantastic addition to the talented cast: "We do something trying to work out shit in our personal life. And then the next year we put on a different costume and we’re somebody else.”
