Heartthrob James McVey, of The Vamps fame, has revealed that while he's a big fan of social media sites there are also things he really doesn't like about them. 

During a new interview with Cliché magazine, the heartthrob opened up about the biggest issue he has with social media and confessed that reading untrue things about himself online is always really hard:

"If there's one thing that is always guaranteed, it's that there is going to be a rumour about me on Twitter somewhere. I must have been matched to over 100 girls since I started The Vamps. Honestly, I do find some of the rumours pretty funny, I'm good friends with a girl called Ebony Day and people are always trying to say that we're together!"

The 'Can We Dance' hitmaker went onto add that there was one incident that was particularly awkward: "I remember I was rumoured to be dating a mysterious girl after I put up some Instagram pictures... People later discovered the girl was, in fact, my sister... who was 14 at the time!"
