Nathan Sykes on old 1D feud: 'I hate conflict, but we're friendly now'

'Over and Over Again' heartthrob Nathan Sykes has revealed that there is no bad blood between himself and One Direction, following the Twitter spats that happened occasionally between his old band and the 'Story Of My Life' lads.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper about the tension that arose between his former band The Wanted and One Direction, he admitted that it has now dissipated and they are on great terms:

"That was a few years ago, everyone has grown up. I hate confrontation so it was nice to see them on a friendly level. I sat down with a few of them and we kind of laughed about it. It was nice to see them and be like, ‘Oh my god, we can be friendly with each other.’”

As previously reported, Sykes also confessed that he has been in touch with 1D's Liam Payne about maybe writing music together in the future: "I spoke to Liam about writing together, which is going to be cool. I'm looking forward to that when we can get it in our schedules."
