Mel B says it would be 'rude not to celebrate' Spice Girls anniversary

Mel B has given another suggestion that the Spice Girls could reunite to celebrate their 20th anniversary next year.

The girl group released their debut single 'Wannabe' in 1996 and rumours have constantly circulated about their anniversary plans.

In a new interview with Alan Carr on his New Year's Chatty Man special, Mel B told fans to expect some good news soon.

She said: "I think I'm the one putting all the rumors out there. To be serious, it is our 20th anniversary this year and it would be rude not to celebrate.

"So hopefully something will be happening pretty soon...I can't tell you what it is yet."

The Spice Girls last performed as a five-piece at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The Brits have sold over 80 million records worlwide.
