Spotify has announced the most popular Beatles track on the streaming platform so far.

On Christmas Eve (December 24) the iconic band's back catalogue was added to the service.

On Saturday (December 26), Spotify confirmed that 'Come Together' was the most played Beatles song globally so far.

It was followed by 'Let It Be', 'Hey Jude' and 'Love Me Do'.

In the US, 'Come Together' was also the most popular, with 'Hey Jude' the second favourite.
