X Factor winner Louisa Johnson has suggested she is willing to try out new things in the recording studio.

The singer won the competition this year, but her single 'Forever Young' flopped in the UK chart.

Speaking to the Mirror, the Brit said she is open to suggestion when creating her sound in the studio.

Johnson said: "I am young and I want to portray myself in a fun way.

"I think it is a case of me going to the studio and trying things out, and if they work they work, and if they don’t they don’t I will have to keep trying."

The singer failed to bag the UK Christmas No.1 single, with the NHS Choir instead landing the title.

The charity single pipped Justin Bieber to the crown.
