Madonna addresses "challenging time" during her Mexico show

Madonna has revealed that she's going through something very challenging in her personal life at the moment and emotionally addressed her audience in Mexico City last week about her feelings.

During the concert on January 6, the pop icon confessed to the crowd at her Rebel Heart tour that she is currently going through a "challenging time".

Billboard quotes the Queen of Pop as saying: "We all go through challenging times in our life, and that includes me. I, too, go through challenging times in my life, and right now is one of them. Sometimes I think I can't do a show. I don't have the energy, I don't have the strength.”

"I come out here tonight and I can see your faces, and I look into your eyes and I see so much love and it gives me strength. So thank you. You are rebel hearts. I feel your hearts beating with mine.”

Towards the end of December, Madonna's 15-year-old son Rocco was ordered to return home to New York after refusing to board a flight back from London, where he was spending time with his filmmaker father Guy Ritchie.
