Shawn Mendes has confirmed a series of world tour dates.

The Canadian, who is currently No.1 in the UK with the single 'Stitches', will travel to Europe and North America.

The run will open in Cologne, Germany on April 16.

There will be one UK date at London's Hammersmith Apollo on May 6.

The North America jaunt will open in Florida on July 15 before visiting the likes of Seattle, Detroit and Toronto.

Tickets for the European shows will go on sale from February 5, while the majority North America fans can buy tickets from January 6.
