X Factor's Ben Haenow dropped by Syco after two singles

X Factor 2014 winner Ben Haenow has been axed by record label Syco after just two singles.

The Brit reached No.1 in the UK with his winner's single 'Something I Need' after his triumph on the reality TV show.

However, his self-titled debut album peaked at No.10 and his Kelly Clarkson duet follow-up single 'Second Hand Heart' only hit No.21.

In a Facebook post uploaded on Thursday night (January 28), Haenow confirmed that he has now split from Simon Cowell's label Syco.

However, the singer confirmed that he is in talks with other parties about releasing a second album.

He said both he and Syco thought it was the "right time" to move on. Check out Haenow's full explanation below.
