Shawn Mendes and Justin Bieber are among the acts to receive new sales certifications in the UK.

The British Phonographic Industry confirmed today (February 19) that Mendes' single 'Stitches' is now platinum, meaning it has sold over 600,000 units.

His 2015 album 'Handwritten' is now silver after it passed the 60,000 sales mark.

Bieber's single 'What Do You Mean?' is double platinum, while Rihanna's 'Diamonds' also achieved the same feat.

Adele's '25' meanwhile is only the third album released his decade to go three times platinum.

Coldplay's 'A Head Full Of Dreams' is two times platinum, while P!nk's 'Get The Party Started' is gold.

Little Mix's latest single 'Secret Love Song' is silver after selling 200,000 units.
