Music stars in shock as they tweet their support for Kesha

'Die Young' hitmaker Kesha Rose appeared in court today to fight against music producer Dr. Luke, who she alleges drugged and raped her.

Kesha was asking for an injunction that would release her from Dr. Luke's contract, but the case didn't result in her favour and the judge ruled against her, telling the court that she couldn't grant Kesha the freedom she was searching because her "instinct is to do the commercially reasonable thing."

After this news circulated online, a host of music stars rushed to share messages of support with Kesha. British songstress Lily Allen tweeted: "My thoughts are with @KeshaRose today. I'm sorry you've had to endure this experience."

'Ghost' sensation Halsey also posted a tweet about the outcome of the case, writing: "Disgusted by anyone in power positions abusing their authority. My heart breaks for Kesha and all people affected by this toxicity. F**k. I don't even know what I would do... I only hope she can find peace and find a way to continue to create express herself without fear."

Lorde tweeted: "Standing with @KeshaRose through this traumatic, deeply unfair time. send good vibes her way everyone." Alessia Cara added: "Really disappointing to hear about this kesha case. no one should be denied freedom from their abuser, nor freedom of their creativity."
