5th Harmony share new album's release date and cover art

Girl group Fifth Harmony have been working on their highly anticipated second studio album for some time now, but they have finally confirmed details of the release.

The record, entitled '7/27', is set to be released on May 20, 2016. The album's cover, pictured below, is a stunning group shot showing all five members posing in a desert setting in front of a car. 5H's new single, 'Work From Home', is due to drop tomorrow on February 26.

Songstress Dinah Jane Hansen took to her official Twitter page earlier this morning to share the exciting news, writing: "This was the hardest secret to keep from you lil' crazies."

Back in July 2015, Pressparty caught up with the ladies of Fifth Harmony and they told us that the sound on their second album would be different to their debut: "We always try to… real lyrics and real instruments in there. Maybe like the Destiny’s Child vibe, we’d be fine with that. Sticking to our Spice Girls personality (laughs). Those are actually our biggest inspirations. Two biggest inspirations to us are Destiny’s Child and Spice Girls… so we’ve got a bit of U.S. and UK combined. We’re still going through the creative process!"
