All Time Low have opened up on their blossoming friendship with One Direction.

The rock band have recently developed a connection with the boyband.

Speaking to The Sun, guitarist Jack Barakat said All Time Low have been fans of the hitmakers before they became friends.

He said: "They’re actually really legit dudes. You would never know that they were the most famous people in the world."

Alex Gaskarth said: "And their new albums are really cool and really rad, from a songwriting standpoint there’s some really cool production on the new stuff. I’m a big fan of their music."

Barakat continued: "We loved their music before we even met them. I can love a band or artist and if I meet them and they’re not that cool it ruins it.

"But it goes the opposite way if the music’s amazing and you meet them and they’re really cool I’ll even like them more. They’re one of the bands like that."
