The first national final to choose the UK's entry for Eurovision since 2008 took place tonight and the winning act has now been decided. 

Joe Woolford and Jake Shakeshaft, who first appeared on 'The Voice', will represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm on Saturday, May 14 with their upbeat song 'You're Not Alone'.

The duo were chosen by a public vote from six acts who performed their tracks at the live final at the Forum in London’s Kentish Town this evening.

Joe confessed that he is so excited by the outcome and can't wait to represent the country at the ceremony: ‘I can’t even talk, it feels amazing. To everyone back home, thank you so much for voting for us, we’re just so proud."
