Rod Stewart loses track of lovers

Notorious ladies man Rod Stewart has admitted that he has slept with so many women that he has lost count.

However, the ‘Do Ya Think I’m Sexy’ singer claims he isn’t proud of this fact and was never one for one night stands, preferring to court women.

While talking to Piers Morgan for ITV1's ‘Life Stories’ series, Stewart was asked if he could remember every woman he slept with, the former Faces frontman replied: “No, no, and I’m not proud of that either.”

He added: “You know what you do remember is the ones who taught you how to ‘nasty’. They teach you little things, little tricks ... it used to be a woman a few years older than me, as Maggie May was, 33 ... and I was 16 or 17 and she taught me how to ‘nasty’.

“I was never a guy for one night stands, I enjoyed the courtship and a little bit of romance and the chase, I enjoyed the chase.”

'Piers Morgan's Life Stories: Rod Stewart' will be broadcast tonight at 9:45pm on ITV1.
