'X Factor': Belle Amie get the boot

Girl group Belle Amie have become the latest act to get the chop on ‘The X Factor’ after receiving the lowest amount of votes last night (October 31).

The group were forced into a sing-off with Katie Waissell after both acts were found in the bottom two for the second time.

Belle Amie were lacklustre with their at-times tuneless performance of ‘Breakaway’ while Waissell delivered an emotional rendition of Etta James’ ‘Trust In Me’.

The sing-off results threw the judges into their first deadlock of this year’s series, with Simon and Louis backing Belle Amie against Katie-supporters Dannii and Cheryl. However, when the decision was made by the public vote, it was Belle Amie who came in at the bottom.
