Canadian superstar Justin Bieber has achieved an impressive sales milestone in the UK today (March 4) with his smash-hit single, 'Love Yourself'. 

The British Phonographic Industry (BPI) has confirmed that the single has now been certified double Platinum.

Platinum means that a single has shifted over 600,000 units, so 'Love Yourself' has sold over 1,200,000 copies. Tweeting about the news, the BPI wrote: ‘Love Yourself’ by @JustinBieber is now 2x Platinum in the UK. Congrats! #bpiAwards."

Bieber, meanwhile, recently opened up about the fact that his fans look up to him and confessed that he doesn't like it: "I would really suggest to people, ‘Don’t put your faith in me’. Because I’m gonna disappoint you every time. Yeah. It’s scary. But I want them to know that I’m not going to be able to solve their problems… I’m not that higher power.”
