The nominees for this year’s Music Week Awards, which are in association with Google Play Music, have now been revealed.

This year’s ceremony will take place this spring on April 28 at London’s Grosvenor Hotel and winners will be decided by a panel of over 100 senior executives from across the industry, with some categories decided by smaller panels of experts in the field.

Music Week explains that "the big award of the night is The Strat, which recognises an exceptional individual who has changed the course of the industry throughout their career. The Strat winner will be revealed on the night."

“It’s been a banner year for the British music industry," said Music Week publisher Dave Roberts, "And that’s reflected in the quality of the nominations. We’re looking forward to celebrating the best and the brightest on April 28 – and to seeing you there.”
